This is Super Sailor Jupiter. If you haven’t guessed already, I am a massive Sailor Moon fan. Sailor Jupiter is the third sailor senshi to be introduced in the Sailor Moon Manga series. Makoto is one of the strongest of the sailors and embodies powers of nature. There’s no surprise that I can be found in a Sailor Moon cosplay really.
This particular version of Sailor Jupiter was made for MCM May 2014. The costume is the result of several years of Sailor Moon experimentation. It is mostly satin and a few reusable spandex components. The bodysuit, hip rolls and gloves have been made in a manner that allows me to easily remove and reuse them as I need. The hardest part of this build was the boot covers. This took me around 3 weeks in total.
