This is a Yun Forcemaster, a Chi wielding character from NCSoft’s Blade and Soul game. It’s an MMORPG, developed by team Bloodlust, that’s about to be released in the west. The Yun are one of four races that live in the earthen realm and are entirely female.
I made this cosplay especially for Gamescom 2015, where I got to play Blade and Soul. I was also lucky enough to meet the community team behind the game. It took me around a week of solid work to make this and is a mix of satin, spandex and Worbla accessories. I’m particularly proud of the weapon. It’s made of Worbla, spray painted black, detailed with nail varnish, and finished off with a piece of vintage kimono silk.
